    3.    What is the typical timeline for publishing a children’s book?

The timeline can vary depending on the complexity of your project, but most books are ready for publication within 4-8 months. We start by editing and illustrating and coincidly market the book.

    4.    Do you provide editing and illustration services?

No, we do not provide in-house editing and illustration services. We have a vetted list of professional illustrators that we have approved for our authors to choose from, or your preferred illustrator may apply for approval. We will assist you with finding a professional children's book editor for your story to ensure we have a marketable book. The author is responsible for all editing and illustration fees.

    5.    Are your services free?

Our services are not free, and we do not pay in advance. Individual service pricing depends on the specific needs of your book. There is a one-time fee to be published by Purple Diamond Press. With years of experience, we value our publishing process and provide quality services and published books for the market. We will be there every step of the way during this exciting new journey and work with you, not for you. We require all of our authors to work with a professional children's book editor and illustrator.

    6.    Will I retain the rights to my book?

Yes, you will retain all rights to your book. We’re here to help you bring your vision to life, and you will own the copyright. Purple Diamond Press will be the sole publisher of your children's book and will receive a smaller royalty while you retain the majority.

    7.    Do you work with authors of all experience levels?

Yes, we welcome both new and experienced authors. We will help provide book editing services, illustrations, and much more. If you are not ready to publish, you can request an in-depth consultation here.

    8.    Can you help with the distribution of my book?

Yes, we assist with distribution, ensuring your book is available on major platforms like Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and more.

    9.    Do you offer marketing and promotional support?

Yes! Marketing is very important, and we will provide you with an explicit book plan and a marketing plan before the start of your book journey. We will also assist with marketing strategies during and after publication. Publish your children's book with us today.

Purple Diamond Press only publishes children's picture books and YA books. You may apply to our new imprint, Sapphire Noble Books if you have an adult-genre book.
