C.M. Harris is the bestselling author behind the What If We Were series, a collection of powerful children's books designed to promote kindness, diversity, and acceptance. Growing up with Charcot Marie Tooth Disease (CMT), a progressive neuromuscular disorder, and later attacked with Trigeminal Neuralgia, a chronic pain condition, Harris understands the importance of empathy, inclusion, and representation. Her goal with the What If We Were series is to create stories where all children—regardless of ability, background, or differences—feel seen, valued, and celebrated.
